【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversgreigefabricswovenfrom"E"electricalglassfiberyarns.Thisspecificationcanalsobeappliedtofabricsmadeofotherglassfibertypesasagreeduponbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.1.2Thisspecificationspecifiestheterminology,definitions,generalrequirementsandphysicalrequirementsforgreigeglassfiberfabrics.Thisspecificationpermitstheapplicationoforganicmaterialstotheglassfiberyarnduringmanufacturethathelpsfacilitateweaving.1.3ThisspecificationshowsthevaluesinbothSIunitsandininch-poundunits."SIunits"isthetechnicallycorrectnameforthesystemofmetricunitsknownastheInternationalSystemofUnits."Inch-poundunits"isthetechnicallycorrectnameforthecustomaryunitsusedintheUnitedStates.ThevaluesinSIunitsareprovidedasinformationonly;thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.4ThisspecificationisoneofaseriestoprovideasubstituteforMilitarySpecifications:MIL-Y-1140Yarn,Cord,Sleeving,Cloth,andTape-Glass;andMIL-C-9084Cloth,GlassFinishedforResinLaminates.1.5AdditionalASTMspecificationsinthisserieshavebeendraftedandappearincurrenteditionsoftheAnnualBookofASTMStandards.Theseincludefinishedglassfabrics,unfinishedglassfabrics,glasstapes,glasssleevings,glasscords,glasssewingthreads,andfinishedlaminatesmadefromfinishedglassfabrics.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
