【摘要】:Theelectricalcrankingsystemcomponents,whichincludethebattery,cables,andcrankingmotor,mustbecarefullyselectedtoprovidethenecessaryspeedtostartanengineunderthemostsevereclimaticconditionsforwhichthesystemisintended.Enginecrankingloadsincreasewithcoldtemperatures,therefore,theinitialselectionofthesecomponentsneedstoconsiderlowtemperatureenginetorquerequirements.Toinsureanadequateelectricalcrankingsystemisobtained,itisimportantthatpropertestproceduresareusedforobtainingthecrankingloadrequirementsoftheengine.
