【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesfunctionalrequirementsforvarioustypesofpersonaleye-protectorsandincorporatesgeneralconsiderationssuchas:-designation;-classification;-basicrequirementsapplicabletoalleye-protectors;-variousparticularandoptionalrequirements;-allocationofrequirements,testingandapplication;-marking;-informationforusers.Thetransmittancerequirementsforvarioustypesoffilterocularsaregiveninseparatestandards(seeclause2).ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoalltypesofpersonaleye-protectorsusedagainstvarioushazards,asencounteredinindustry,laboratories,educationalestablishments,DIYactivities,etc.whicharelikelytodamagetheeyeorimpairvision,withtheexceptionofnuclearradiation,X-rays,laserbeamsandlowtemperatureinfrared(IR)radiationemittedbylowtemperaturesources.Therequirementsofthisstandarddonotapplytoeye-protectorsforwhichseparateandcompletestandardsexist,suchaslasereye-protectors,sunglassesforgeneraluse,etc.unlesssuchstandardsmakespecificreferencetothisstandard.Therequirementsofthisstandardapplytoocularsforweldingandalliedprocessesbutdonotapplytoequipmentforeyeandfaceprotectionforweldingandalliedprocesses,requirementsforwhicharecontainedinEN175.Eye-protectorsfittedwithprescriptionlensesarenotexcludedfromthefieldofapplication.TherefractivepowertolerancesandotherspecialcharacteristicsdependentupontheprescriptionrequirementarespecifiedinENIS08980-1andENIS08980-2.
